Phi Delta Epsilon Is Constantly Seeking To Give Back To The Community

PhiDE stays actively involved in the community. From opening up blood drives
co-sponsored by the New Brunswick Affiliated Hospitals Blood Center, to volunteering
at local nursing homes, to cleaning up local parks, Phi Delta Epsilon members at Rutgers University strive to have their impact felt in the area they call home.

Piscataway HS Scholarship Opportunity

Phi Delta Epsilon has decided to give back even more by providing a scholarship opportunity to local high school students. If you are a Piscataway High School student interested in medicine, please see the information below regarding how to participate in this opportunity.

    • Name: Phi Delta Epsilon: Future Life Saver Award

    • Target Students: Graduating seniors interested in pursuing 
      medicine or medical research after college

    • Scholarship amount: $500

    • Requirements for scholarship: Copy of high school transcript, 
      Essay Completion

    • Essay Requirement: Answer Essay Prompt #1 of: "What 
      does life mean to you?" in 1,000 words or less. Essay Prompt
      "What makes you a unique student?" in 500 words or less

    • Due Date for Essay Submission: April 8th
